In today's video, Linda explains how she came up with the design for her Mug Rugs, using scraps of holiday fabric. She describes the embroidery process, along with stabilizer advice - embroidery batting and fusible stabilizers. After having embroidered holiday sentiments in metallic thread and free-hand quilted following the pattern on the fabric, she prepares and combines the back pieces, and finishes sewing the sides on her new Bernina Kaffe Fassett 770 Sewing & Embroidery machine. With an easy flip and turn her Mug Rugs are ready to put under the tree, send over to a neighbor, or send along with your children to school for their teacher!
