About the Event

Sundays, March 15, 22, 29, April 5 & 19, from 12:30 to 2:30pm

Tuesdays, April 28, May 5, 12, 19 & 26, from 3:00 to 5:00pm

Class fee: $99.00, plus the book Start Quilting with Alex Anderson, fabric & supplies purchased here (includes use of our machines)

You’ll get five 2-hour sessions of the basics of quilting & the use of our new machines. The classes will begin with fabric selection & color theory, then will cover a general 

overview of quilting with hands-on demos of the basic tools & techniques, such as rotary cutting & strip piecing, and end with methods to sandwiching, quilting & binding for a 

finished quilt. You’ll learn to make two classic quilts - the Rail Fence and the Nine Patch. Geared toward new quilting customers, the class size is small so you will be able to work closely with your instructor.
