Class Registration & Cancellation Policy
Payment is required in advance to be considered registered for a class. Please register early! If classes fill up before you’ve registered you may miss out on our exceptional classes. On the other hand, if no students, or if too few students, have registered for a class up to the week before the class, the class will be cancelled. Any students who had signed up for a class that was cancelled will be called and given the option to transfer to another class, to receive store credit or a refund.
A material fee may be required for some classes. This may be indicated as “kit” (please check class listings). Some classes may require supplies. You will be given information on supplies at the time you sign up for your class. Fabric used in our classes must be purchased at Linda Z’s. Please support our store; we sell top quality fabrics which give your project the best results possible. You will receive 10% off the fabric and supplies you purchase for your class. If a sewing machine is required for class it must have been purchased at Linda Z’s. You must be familiar with how your machine works when you bring it to class (with the exception of Basic Machine Training classes). Please make sure it is in GOOD WORKING ORDER before bringing it to class. (If you haven't had your machine serviced in the last year, bring it in for a tune up BEFORE class.)
Before signing up for class, please check your schedule. Classes with more than one session must be attended in sequence. To be fair to our instructors and other customers we cannot provide make-up classes for missed sessions. Customers can cancel up to one week before the class and receive store credit. If a customer cancels within 1 week of the class, the customer forfeits the cost of the class, unless a replacement fills the spot, in which case store credit will be given. No cash refunds. No refunds or store credit will be given after a class has begun. Our teachers are experienced at their craft and put a lot of effort into bringing you quality instruction. We respect our teachers and make commitments to them. We would greatly appreciate your help following these procedures.

Linda Z’s Event Registration & Cancellation Policy
An Event sponsored by Linda Z’s is an educational and experiential seminar, either hands-on or lecture/demo, presented by an outside Educator, who is an expert and certified in the field. An Event may be held here at the store or at an off-site facility. To register for an Event payment is required in advance. Please register early! If an Event fills up before you’ve registered you may miss out on one of our exceptional Events. On the other hand, if no students, or if too few students, have registered for an Event, the Event will be cancelled. Any students who had signed up for an Event that was cancelled will be called and given the option to transfer to another Event, to receive store credit or a refund.

Please support our store; we sell top quality fabrics which give your project the best results possible. You will receive a student discount for the fabric and supplies you purchase for the Event. Sewing machines used during hands-on Events will be our new machines. If you have purchased one of the machines that will be used during the Event, from us, you must bring yours to use during the Event. If you are unable to bring your machine you will be charged a rental fee.
Events are non-refundable and no store credits will be given if you are unable to attend. We would greatly appreciate your help following these procedures.
