Beginning Quilting Basics 101

Sundays, April 28, May 5, 19, June 2, and 9 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm

(5 sessions, 2-hours each)

Class fee: $99.00, plus the book Start Quilting with Barb Porembski, fabric & supplies purchased here (includes use of our machines)

Prerequisite: Beginning Sewing Class or previous sewing knowledge

You’ll get five 2-hour sessions of the basics of quilting & the use of our new machines. The classes will begin with fabric selection & color theory, then will cover a general overview of quilting with hands-on demos of the basic tools & techniques, such as rotary cutting & strip piecing, and end with methods to sandwiching, quilting & binding for a finished quilt.
