Automatic Double-Needle Safety
When switching from a single needle to a double needle, the double-needle button helps ensure that the needles are properly aligned with the presser foot.
The double-needle safety function automatically limits the stitch width, helping prevent the needles from striking the presser foot and breaking.
 
Adjustable Presser-Foot Pressure
Different materials require different levels of presser-foot pressure. Lightweight and delicate fabrics, for example, may need less pressure to feed smoothly through the machine.
The Bernette B38 allows you to adjust the presser-foot pressure to suit the material you are sewing.
 
Automatic Thread Cutter and Tie-Off Function
At the end of a seam, the thread must be secured to prevent the stitching from unraveling. With the Bernette B38, there is no need to sew backward and forward manually.
Simply press the tie-off button, and the machine will secure the end of the seam automatically. Once your project is complete, press the automatic thread-cutter button to cut the threads before removing your work from beneath the needle.
 
Extension Table Included
