Grunge is a blender fabric collection designed by BasicGrey for Moda Fabrics available in a wide array of colors. It has been included in all BasicGrey collections since Urban Couture in 2008 and has since become a Moda basic. Grunge is a unique quilting fabric that is dyed first and then printed on one side to provide texture to the fabric. It can vary widely depending on the number of colors applied, the subtlety or contrast of those colors, and so on. Grunge is a great alternative to solids in quilts, and the wrong side of the fabric can also be used as a solid.
