Coverstitch Serging on the Brother 3550 Serger
Linda uses the Brother 3550 Serger to hem a pair of knit pyjamas. This is a very quick process for those who have some prior experience with a serger.
On one leg of the pajamas, with right side (or the outside of the pant) facing down, she uses the coverhem stitch with the athletic decorative stitch being created on the outside and the triple-needle straight line stitching being created on the inside.
On the other leg, Linda engages the moving hook above the presser foot, which creates the same athletic decorative stitch on both the outside and the inside of the pant hem.
Both ways are beautiful and oh so fast!
